This year, we had an amazing 72 writers finish the 100-for-100 writing challenge! WOW.
I lost track of how many emails i received saying things like, “I had been in a writing slump and this challenge broke me out of it.” Or, “I had no idea I was capable of writing so consistently until I did this.” It makes me soooooo happy when writers discover something that works so well for them! (I also received emails from writers saying, “Ugh, this does NOT work for me.” It’s not for everybody!)
There are many of you out there who made it through part of the challenge before stopping for a variety of reasons. I’m proud of you too! Sometimes the very best thing we can do for our writing life is to take a break or outright stop writing for a season.
Please join me in congratulating this amazing list of writers who finished the challenge!:

Congratulations to everyone who finished the challenge! 72 is a LOT! (It’s really crazy seeing my name up there!) Thanks so much for hosting this challenge! I know I would’ve barely written this summer without it:-) It was great to have extra motivation to write every day!!
This is one of the biggest groups of finishers we’ve had in a while! Great work!
CONGRATS IZZY, KAT, PEARL, RILEY, TASHA AND EVERYONE ELSE!!! ?? *shoots confetti and celebratory tacos* That’s an amazing accomplishment and y’all deserve a treat! ?☕???
Thank youuuu!!!!
Awww, thank you, Lore!!!! *eats tacos and treat* (Did I mention that I REALLY LOVE tacos??? XD ?)
Yay! Congrats to the other finishers!
And a huge thank you to Go Teen Writers and Stephanie for the weekly emails – they were so motivating. 🙂
You’re so welcome! It’s nice to be reminded that we’re not alone in our writing pursuits!
I fell off the wagon somewhere in July, but the challenge had the unexpected benefit of teaching me that I can get a *lot* written by focusing on some days of the week and not pushing myself on other days, so I’m considering it a personal win!
Congratulations to everyone who finished!! Y’all are amazing!
Miss Archer, that’s so amazing! I’m proud of you for figuring out what method works for you. Well done! I’d take a win like that any day! 🙂
That’s a win FOR SURE!
Congratulations, all! It’s exciting to see so many writers pursuing their creative dreams. Fantastic work!
If anyone would like to keep the writing momentum going through autumn, I will be hosting Write In Faith Camp in November, a free writing camp for Christian writers of all ages and every stage of publication. Registration is Oct 10-21. The sign-up form will be added to the following webpage on Oct. 10. More information may be found here: https://andreareneecox.com/write-in-faith-camp/
Happy writing, friends!
