I hope everyone’s weekend was more restful than mine. Mine involved a goat trying to eat my daughter’s skirt, my son bringing me a handful of dog poop while I was in the middle of doing dishes, and the low-battery chirp thingy on the smoke detector waking me at 6 a.m on Saturday morning.

So a little motivation is exactly what I need this morning!

Today is both the first day of the challenge and the last day to get signed up. If you still have not signed up, but you want to partake, click here to get registered. If you have registered already but haven’t received an email from me about how to log your words, please send me an email telling me so. (Note: I make a habit of turning off email on Sunday, so if you registered yesterday, your email should be coming this afternoon.)

Again, the 100 for 100 challenge is for all ages and the idea is to write 100 words a day (which takes, like, 10 minutes) for 100 days. It may not seem like much, but it means in December you’ll have at least 10,000 words done on your manuscript. And a chance at winning a 10,000 word critique and being able to sport this beauty:

For full contest details, you can see the original post here.

Have a great writing day, everyone!
