Their entries have been sent off to Tessa Emily Hall, and she will pick her favorites. I’ve read the top 15, and she has some hard decisions ahead of her. They’re fantastic!
If you’re not familiar with Tessa Emily Hall, you should definitely check her out. She’s an agent, an editor, a writer, and a beautiful soul all-around.
Save the date for the next 100-for-100 writing challenge!
This is our most popular event of the year, and we’re thrilled to be bringing it back! Registration opens Monday, May 6th and the challenge runs from Monday, May 20th through August 27th.
If you haven’t played along before, the challenge is to write (at least) 100 words a day, every day, for 100 days.
100 words is about a paragraph. You can likely do it in 10 minutes or less. While it might seem like just a drop in the bucket, all those drops add up to 10.000 words in your manuscript by the end of the 100 days. And that’s if you do the bare minimum! Not bad, right?
Even if you don’t make it all the way through, it’s still a great time of writing and community building. We hope you’ll join us!
Congratulations, finalists! Fun to see some familiar names too. :0)
Excited for the 100 for 100!
Oh, I recognize some names among those finalists! So excited for you all! And excited for the 100for100! I think my cousin is joining this year, and maybe some friends, too ;D

Congratulations to the finalists, and I can’t wait to read the final four!! This was so much fun participating it. 100 for 100 sounds really helpful. Thanks for all the support GTW gives to aspiring writers! 🙂
Oh, and about the 100 for 100 writing challenge, would using the words to plan scenes or the book in general count in the challenge? Can it be counted instead of actually writing the story, or no? Just thought I’d ask.
Absolutely!
Congratulations to every finalist!! You all are so brave for submitting your work.
I am super pumped for the 100-for-100! It will be my first time joining. I’m looking forward to it! It’ll be super fun, even if I don’t make it to the end 😉
This year will be my 100 for 100 redemption! (Only if Word reacts well to my mom’s hard drive for our weeklong trip to the Adirondacks. That’s what got me out last time!)
