Since I’ve been in grad school, studying to become a certificated elementary school teacher, I’ve been growing more familiar with a wide variety of children’s books. I recently stumbled onto one that I just had to share with you all. It’s called The Most Magnificent Thing, and it’s by author and illustrator Ashley Spires. This book is a beautiful story of what it’s like to see something in your mind, then set about trying to create it. I hope it inspires and encourages you.
Also, if you ever need a gift for a writer friend, this book would be a great choice. Click here to read more on Amazon.com.
Very inspiring! What struck me is that there was something right about each of the things she made. Applied to writing, there is something good about each of your drafts, even if you haven’t found the right combination yet. Even when it might feel like you’ll never get it, many times you are not far off from finding the perfect fit. To me that was encouraging. 🙂
So true, Kristianne! I liked that part too. 🙂
